Yesterday, one of the upcoming Realme “Race” devices bearing the model number RMX2202 had made its appearance on Chinese TENAA database – hinting on its imminent launch.
Right now, Realme had filed a trademark for the “Realme GT” moniker in the Indian market (via @stufflistings) which seems to suggest that the upcoming Realme “Race” devices are likely to officially debut under the brand new “GT” series in the global market.
As usual, we do expect to see several different models under the upcoming “GT” series. The RMX2202 which was spotted on TENAA yesterday comes with a hole-punch design upfront, and has a rectangular camera housing on its rear side.
Earlier leaked information had in fact revealed that the Realme RMX2202 will be powered by the latest flagship Snapdragon 888 chipset and features a hefty 12GB+256GB setup in its memory department.
Although its not known whether the RMX2202 is the vanilla or “Pro” model, but a recent leak had also claimed that the “Pro” model will be coming with an impressive 6.81-inches OLED display that offers 3K screen resolution as well as an ultra-smooth 160Hz refresh rate.
Furthermore, it also mentioned that the device is also powered by the Snapdragon 888 chipset and might come with support for the company’s proprietary 125W UltraDART charging support.
