Realme recently introduced a new series of smartphones called Realme Koi in China. The Weibo post that the company released last week suggested that the upcoming Realme Koi could be a flagship smartphone powered by the Snapdragon 888 chipset. However, a new leak that has surfaced on Weibo today suggests that it could be a mid-range phone called the Realme V15.
According to the new leak, the Realme Koi smartphone which Realme was teasing earlier on is in fact the upcoming Realme V15 smartphone. The leaked images that have surfaced reveals that the Realme V15 sports a very elegant gradient colore rear.
It is unclear whether the phone has a glass rear or a plastic back with a glassy appeal. The rectangle-shaped camera module has a triple camera setup that is led a 64-megapixel lens. The Realme branding and “Dare to Leap” text can be seen engraved on the rear shell of the device. The right edge of the phone has a power key, whereas its left spine has buttons for controlling volume.
The leak further states that the Realme V15 is driven by the Dimensity 800U chipset by MediaTek. The phone is expected to arrive with support for 50W fast charging. While the exact size of its battery is not known, the leak mentions that it weighs 176 grams. The other specs of the device are currently under wraps.
The yellow-orange gradient pattern seems to be inspired by ornamental carps named Koi that are usually found in Japan. The Realme Koi branding suggests that the upcoming Koi series smartphones could be sporting a beautiful design.
