This morning, we reported a couple of Xiaomi Meri alleged leaked images showing off the device at all possible angles.
Right now, the same device had already been benchmarked via Geekbench which reaffirmed some key specs of the device. Akin to what was reported earlier on, the Xiaomi Meri will be a mid-range smartphone with 3GB of RAM onboard which snagged a multi-core score of 3043 at Geekbench which is a rather decent result for a mid-range device. Even though the Geekbench listing revealed that the device will be running on Android 6.0 out of the box, there is still ample chance for Xiaomi to drop us a surprise by making the device their first-ever handset to run on the Android 7.0 out of the box.
With the imminent release of the Honor 6X, we won’t see any reason for Xiaomi to delay the release of their new mid-ranger if they plan to continue dominating the Chinese smartphone market.
