Yesterday, Vivo dropped the first promo video of the upcoming Vivo S6 5G which showcases the device in two different colorways. However, there are actually more available color options than what we’d saw in the promo video.
According to the official renders released by Vivo today, it was confirmed that the Vivo S6 5G will in fact be offered in a total of 3 different colorways including White, Blue and Black.
Design-wise, the Vivo S6 5G will feature a circular camera module on it’s back panel which shares a close resemblance to that of the recently announced Redmi K30 Pro.
This unique camera module will house a quad-camera setup which consists of a 48 megapixels main shooter, 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens, 2 megapixels macro lens, as well as a 2 megapixels depth sensor.
At the front, the device will sports a more conventional dewdrop-notch display that includes a 20 megapixels selfie camera.
As for the rest of it’s specs, we’d also learned pretty much about them through it’s official TENAA listing. Based on the details revealed, the Vivo S6 5G will feature a 6.44-inches AMOLED display which encompasses a 1080 x 2400 pixels screen resolution.
Under the hood, the device will have up to 8GB of RAM and as much as 256GB onboard storage space which is further expandable with a microSD slot.
The Vivo S6 5G will also tout a massive 4,400mAh battery which is said to support up to 18W fast-charging. Although 18W is a decent charging rate, but it would be better if the device utilize the same charging technology as the Vivo Z6 which is capable of delivering up to 44W fast-charging.
If everything goes smoothly, the Vivo S6 5G will be officially announced on March 31.
