Vivo T2x debuts with MediaTek Dimensity 1300, 50MP dual cameras & 44W fast-charging

Vivo has officially unveiled a new T series smartphone in the Chinese market dubbed as the Vivo T2x which forms part of the new T2 series smartphones which also include the Vivo T2 that will be launched on June 6th.

The new Vivo T2x brings along a 6.58” IPS LCD display offering a FHD+ screen resolution along with a super smooth 144Hz refresh rate. Design-wise, the phone adopts a waterdrop-notch display which houses a 16 megapixels front-facing camera tasked with handling selfies and video calls on the device.

Over on the rear side, we’ll be looking at a square-shaped camera island which houses a pair of cameras including a 50 megapixels main camera and a 2 megapixels depth sensor for portraits shot. Needless to say, there’s also a LED flash unit at the back to help with low-light photography.

Under the hood, the Vivo T2x is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chipset which will be paired with 8GB RAM and up to 512GB onboard storage that can be further expanded via a microSD card.

Keeping it’s lights on is a large 6,000mAh battery with 44W fast-charging support. Software-wise, the phone is shipped with OriginOS 2.0 based on Android 12 OS out of the box. The device is available in two different colors such as Black and Blue.

For those who’re interested, the Vivo T2x will be priced at 1,699 Yuan (US$255) and 1,899 Yuan (US$285) respectively for it’s 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB variants.
