Vivo X Fold 3 key specifications leaked before launch

Rumors have it that Vivo will hold a launch event in the last week of this month to unveil the Vivo X Fold 3 and X Fold 3 Pro. Tipster Digital Chat Station recently shared the full specification of the Pro variant. Now, he is back with a new Weibo post that sheds information about the X Fold 3’s specifications. Here is a look at what to expect from the standard edition in the X Fold 3 series.

The 6.53-inch OLED panel on the Vivo X Fold 3 will reportedly have a layer of crystal-ceramic glass covering it. The screen will support LTPO technology and offer a resolution of 2748 x 1172 pixels.

The X Fold 3 will have an 8.03-inch foldable Samsung AMOLED E7 panel with a UTG glass cover on the inside. The screen is said to support a maximum brightness of 3000 nits and a resolution of 2480 x 2220 pixels.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset will power the device and it will support 80W fast charging. While the Pro edition is said to support 50W wireless charging, the standard model will lack support for it.

The cover display of the X Fold 3 will have a 32-megapixel front-facing camera. It will also have a 32-megapixel camera on the inner screen. The back panel of the device will have a 50-megapixel OmniVision OV50H primary camera, a 50-megapixxel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel telephoto camera. While the primary camera will support OIS, the telephoto snapper is said to offer up to 40x digital zoom.

As per other reports, the Vivo X Fold 3 will have up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of storage. It is said to house a 5,600mAh or 5,700mAh battery. Despite packing a large battery, the device is said to weigh under 230 grams.
