Tipster Digital Chat Station had claimed last month that Vivo has renamed its upcoming NEX series of devices to Vivo X Note and Vivo X Fold. Now, the tipster is back with key specifications of the X Fold, which is expected to debt as Vivo’s first foldable smartphone.
Vivo X Fold Specifications (Rumored)
According to the tipster, the Vivo X Fold will be equipped with a 6.5-inch outer display, which will offer a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. As far as the front display design is concerned, it will be sporting a centrally aligned punch-hole and a curved edge.
Opening the device will reveal its 8-inch Quad HD+ 120Hz display, which will be equipped with a punch-hole at the center of the right half of the display. It appears that the front and inner displays will be equipped with an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset will be powering the device. It will be backed by a 4,600mAh battery that will carry support for 80W fast charging. The device is also expected to carry support for 50W wireless charging.
There is no word on the front camera and inner selfie camera of the Vivo X Fold. However, the leak reveals that its rear camera setup will feature a 50-megapixel camera, a 48-megapixel snapper, a 12-megapixel camera with 2x zoom, and an 8-megapixel camera with 5x zoom.
