Vivo X100 Pro+ to arrive with up to 16 GB of RAM, 1 TB storage

In November 2023, Vivo unveiled the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro smartphones in China. Reports have claimed that the brand may unveil the Vivo X100 Pro+ in the second quarter of this year. There is a possibility that the said device may break cover as the Vivo X100 Ultra in the Chinese market. Recent reports have been consistently leaking details about the X100 Pro+. Now, a new leak, courtesy of tipster Digital Chat Station, reveals the details of the highest configuration of the device.

According to DCS, the topmost model of the Vivo X100 Pro+ will offer 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage. The leaker claims that he hasn’t come across a 24 GB RAM variant of the device’s engineering prototype.

The tipster revealed that the prototype has been spotted in black, yellow, and blue variants. While the black has plain leather, the other two color options are said to have a glass back. The leaker also said that the Vivo X100 Pro+ will come with other features, such as a USB 3.2-enabled USB-C port, an IP68-certified chassis, and two-way satellite communication.

According to previous leaks by DCS, the Vivo X100 Pro+ will have a Samsung E7 AMOLED screen that offers a 2K resolution. It will have a 32-megapixel front camera and a quad-camera setup with a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-900 primary camera. An ultra-wide lens, a telephoto lens, and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with 4.3x optical zoom and 200x digital zoom could all be present alongside the main snapper.

The X100 Pro+ will run on the OriginOS 4-based Android 14. It may pack a large battery and offer 100W wired charging. In addition, it will also offer 50W wireless charging.
