Vivo X60 Series Design Officially Confirmed Ahead of Launch

Various reports have claimed that Vivo will be announcing the Vivo X60 series in December in China. A recent report claimed that the Vivo X60 models may launch on Dec. 28. Ahead of the launch, the reservations of the Vivo X60 series have started on the official site of Vivo China and Chinese retailer platforms like JD.com and Suning.

The poster revealed by the brand confirms that the Vivo X60 series will be driven by the 5nm Exynos 1080 chipset by Samsung. Like the predecessor Vivo X50 series, the upcoming Vivo X60 phones are dubbed as professional imaging flagships since they are equipped with ZEISS optics.

Vivo X60 December 29 Launch

The Vivo X50 series featured a gimbal camera system for capturing stable videos and photos. The machine translated text reveals that the series has an “ultra-stable micro-head,” which suggests that it could be fitted with an improved gimbal camera setup. The X60 series will arrive with Night Vision 2.0, which will possibly allow it to capture stunning shots in low-light conditions.

Vivo is yet to reveal the front design of the Vivo X60 series. Recently leaked images have revealed that the Vivo X60 models will have sport displays with top-center positioned punch-hole.

The Vivo X50 series include three phones namely, the Vivo X50, the Vivo X50 Pro, and the Vivo X50 Pro+ flagship phone powered by the Snapdragon 865. The starting two models were fueled by the Snapdragon 765G.

It is unclear how many devices are included in the Vivo X60 series. There is a possibility that the Vivo V2059, V2047A, and V2046A Vivo phones that were recently approved by the 3C authority of China could be the model numbers of the Vivo X60, X60 Pro, and X60 Pro+. The 3C listings suggested that these phones may arrive with support for 33W fast charging. The X60 series will be the first Vivo phones to arrive with the latest OS UI upgrade called the OriginOS.
