Xiaomi 12T Geekbench Listing Reveals Dimensity 8100

Xiaomi is reportedly working on the Xiaomi 12T lineup for the global market. The series will have two devices, namely the Xiaomi 12T and the Xiaomi 12T Pro. Recent reports have claimed that the 12T Pro will be the company’s first Snapdragon 8 Gen Plus 1-powered flagship for the global market.

The rumor mill has spilt some information about the 12T handset. Rumors have it that the Xiaomi 12T and 12T Pro will break cover in September or October this year. Ahead of the launch, the 12T appeared in the database of the Geekbench benchmarking site.

A Xiaomi device with model number 22071212AG has appeared on Geekbench. Reports have claimed that this device will debut in the global market with the Xiaomi 12T moniker.

The Geekbench listing reveals that the device is equipped with an octa-core chipset by MediaTek. The SoC has four CPU cores ticking at 2GHz and four CPU cores working at 2.85GHz. The source code of the listing reveals that the SoC has the Mali-G610 MC6 GPU. The CPU and GPU details serve as a good hint that the device features the Dimensity 8100 chipset.

The listing further reveals that the Xiaomi 12T has 8 GB of RAM and runs on Android 12 OS, which is likely to be overlaid with the MIUI 13. In the single-core test, the device scored 753 points and 2990 points in the multi-core test.

As far as the other specs are concerned, the rumor mill has revealed that it has a 6.67-inch OLED display that produces 2712 x 1220 pixels resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is likely to arrive in 128 GB and 256 GB storage sizes.

The 12T is likely to feature a 20-megapixel front camera and 108-megapixel triple rear cameras. It may house a 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging support.
