Several reports have claimed that Xiaomi is working on the Xiaomi CIVI 2, a female-focused smartphone. To recall, Xiaomi announced the Xiaomi CIVI phone in September 2021. Earlier this year, the company unveiled the CIVI 1S as an updated version of the original model. Rumors are rife that the CIVI 2 will debut by the end of this month in China. A Weibo post by Hu Xinxin, the Xiaomi CIVI product manager, reveals that the CIVI 2 will be launching soon.
As can be seen in the above screenshot, the Xiaomi executive has used the unannounced Xiaomi CIVI 2 phone to publish a post on Weibo. The executive revealed that the CIVI 2 is “coming soon.” Here is all the information that is known about the smartphone so far.
Xiaomi CIVI 2 Specifications
Reports have revealed that the Xiaomi CIVI 2 will be equipped with a 6.56-inch OLED display. It will carry support for a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. As far as the display design is concerned, it will feature a curved edge display with a centrally positioned punch-hole. For security, it will feature an under-display fingerprint scanner.
The all-new Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset will be present under the hood of the Xiaomi CIVI 2. The SoC will be accompanied by up to 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It will come preloaded with the Android 12 OS and the MIUI 13. It will probably be one of the first phones to receive the MIUI 14-based Android 13 OS upgrade.
It will come with a 32-megapixel front-facing camera. The back panel of the phone has an OIS-enabled 50-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel camera. The device will be backed by a 4,500mAh battery with 67W charging support.
