A couple of listings of an upcoming Xiaomi phone with Xiaomi Mi 10S moniker was spotted at JD.com over this weekend. The listings suggested that the company may soon confirm the arrival of this new phone. Today, it released a confirmation through its Weibo handle that the Xiaomi Mi 10S will be made official on March 10 at 2 PM (local time).
The poster released by the brand today not only confirms the unveiling date of the Xiaomi Mi 10S but also reveals its rear design and color variants. As can be seen, the phone will be available in hues like black, white, and blue.
The rear view of the handset reveals that its camera module will resemble the camera housing of the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra that went official in China last year. The Mi 10S’ camera setup has a primary camera of 108-megapixel and three other lenses, a dual-LED flash unit, and another sensor.
It seems likely that the M2012J2SC smartphone that surfaced at TENAA and 3C Chinese certification authorities in the recent past could be the Xiaomi Mi 10S smartphone. The TENAA listing revealed that it will be sporting a punch-hole screen with curved edges. The below-shown poster shows that the Mi 10S will be equipped with Harmon Kardon speakers.
The Snapdragon 870 chipset could be powering the Xiaomi Mi 10S smartphone. Its 3C appearance suggested that it could be shipping with a 33W fast charging. The device is speculated that the smartphone may borrow its other specs from the Xiaomi Mi 10 5G. Hence, it is likely to feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED FHD+ screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, a 20-megapixel front camera, a 108-megapixel + 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel + 2-megapixel quad-camera system, and a 4,780mAh battery.
