Xiaomi Mi 11 / 11 Pro (M2011K2C) Smartphone Bags 3C Certification in China

At the end of October, the MIIT authority of China had approved a Xiaomi phone with an M2011K2C model number. At that time, it was speculated that it could be the Redmi K40 phone. However, now that the phone has bagged 3C certification, it seems that it could be the Xiaomi Mi 11 or Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro phone.

The 3C listing only mentions that the M2011K2C smartphone is a 5G smartphone and it carries support for fast charging. The listing suggests that the phone may ship with a charger that has a model number of MDY-12-EQ, which offers maximum charging speeds of 55W charging. Since the rumors surrounding the Mi 11 series have claimed that it carries support for 55W charging, it is likely that the 3C certified M2011K2C phone could be the Mi 11 or Mi 11 Pro handset.

The Xiaomi Mi 11 series my get announced before the end of the year. Hence, it is likely that the device Mi 11 and Mi 11 Pro will soon appear in the database of China’s TENAA authority with full specifications.

Yesterday, a report had revealed that the batteries of the Mi 11 and Mi 11 Pro had received 3C certification. The 3C listing suggested that the Mi 11 has a 4,780mAh rated battery, whereas the Pro variant has a 4,970mAh rated battery. Both are said to be dual-cell batteries.

The Snapdragon 888 5G mobile platform will be powering the Xiaomi Mi 11 and Mi 11 Pro smartphones. These phones will come preloaded with Android 11 OS. The Mi 11 duo will be the first phone from the company to arrive with displays that support a quad HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
