Here’s our first look at the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A52 5G

Earlier this month, we were able to have our first look at the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A32 5G device courtesy of renowned leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer. Fast forward one week, he’s back once again with the CAD rendering of another upcoming Galaxy A-series smartphone – Samsung Galaxy A52 5G.

As its name suggests, the Galaxy A52 5G will be succeeding this year’s Galaxy A51 5G. However, there isn’t really a stark difference between the two devices in terms of appearance.

At the front, the Galaxy A52 5G will be retaining the familiar Infinity-O display which continues to measure 6.5-inches diagonally. Expectedly, it will be coming with a Super AMOLED display with in-display fingerprint scanner support.

The similarities extend to its rear panel, but thankfully there’s some obvious rearrangement of the camera sensors and LED flash within its quad camera system which help to differentiate between the pair.

Likewise, Steve also noted that the back panel will still be based on a similar “Glasstic” finish (that feels like glass, but is actually fabricated by plastic). Other than that, its also worth pointing out that the highly-coveted 3.5mm headphone jack will be making its return on the Galaxy A52 5G as well.

Although he didn’t mention anything with regards to the device’s specs, but we do know from a recent Geekbench listing that the Galaxy A52 5G will be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 750G chipset – the same chip that’s also found in the recently announced Galaxy A42 5G.

As for its pricing, its likely to carry a launch price of around US$499 just like the Galaxy A51 5G.
