Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 debuts as one of the most exciting phone of the year

Xiaomi has finally unveiled the next-generation’s Mi Mix 4 flagship during a high profile launch event held in it’s home country. Just like the Mi 11 Ultra that was launched during the first-halve of the year, the Mi Mix 4 is another testament to the company’s technological expertise and paralleled craftmanship when it comes to smartphone design.

The Mi Mix 4 continues to impress with it’s unblemished, full screen display that’s totally free of notches of hole-punches. Unlike the past generation’s Mi Mix series phones that adopt a magnetic slider to accommodate it’s selfie camera, the new model settles with a revolutionary 20MP under-display selfie camera that’s virtually invisible to the eyes.

Speaking of the underlying display panel’s technology, Xiaomi claimed that it ”combines its hardware and software capabilities to ensure the resulting photographs and videos captured using the front camera retain true colors and details”.

Coming to the specifics, the display itself is a curved AMOLED display which measures 6.67” diagonally. It offers a sharp 2,400 x 1,080 pixels screen resolution which is topped with an buttery-smooth 120Hz refresh rate, 480Hz touch sampling rate, 10-bit color depth, as well as an impressive 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio.

Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 Snapdragon 888 Plus

Under the hood, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 is the first smartphone in the world to be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ mobile platform which we will also be seeing in some other upcoming flagship models like the Honor Magic 3 Pro and ASUS ROG Phone 5s. This will be further assisted by up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage in the memory department.

Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 Charging Speed

Keeping it’s lights on will be a respectable 4,500mAh battery that comes with a super-fast 120W wired charging support capable of delivering a full charge within a short span of just 15 minutes under Boost mode.
