Xiaomi Mi Play that will be aimed towards younger audience will be announced on Dec. 24. The handset has appeared with full specifications on TENAA. The TENAA listing of the smartphone reveals that the Mi Play would be available in as many as 10 color variants. However, Xiaomi is unlikely to launch them simultaneously. Fresh information that has surfaced today reveals that the handset would be initially available in three colors. The new leak also reveals the different storage and RAM editions of the smartphone.
The smartphone is expected to the Chinese market in variants such as 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage, 6 GB RAM + 64 GB storage and 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage. As of this writing, there is no information available on the pricing of the three editions of the upcoming Xiaomi Mi Play smartphone. The leak further reveals that the smartphone will be hitting the market in Black, Dawn Gold and Dream Blue. The latter two are expected to be color gradient versions.
The Xiaomi Mi Play images that have surfaced through its TENAA certification have revealed that it will be the first Xiaomi phone to feature a waterdrop notch display of 5.84 inches. The back panel of the phone will be featuring a vertical dual camera setup and a fingerprint reader. The handset will be backed by a 2,900mAh battery and it is fueled by 2.3 GHz octa-core processor.
