ZTE Axon 30, 30 Pro, and 30 Pro+ Likely to Launch on April 30 in China

On March 31, ZTE took off covers from the ZTE S30 series of smartphones in China. The company has now confirmed that it will be announcing the Axon 30 series of smartphones on April 30 in the home market.  

ZTE has disclosed through a Weibo post that it will begin with daily teasers of the upcoming Axon 30 series until April 30. This indicates that the Chinese manufacturer may announce the Axon 30 lineup on the said date. The poster confirms that the lineup includes Axon 30 and Axon 30 Pro+. Past reports have revealed that there is another model named Axon 30 Pro.

The Axon 30 Pro is expected to feature a 64-megapixel triple camera system. It is speculated that the A2022 model that was recently certified by the 3C authority of China will be launching as the Axon 30 Pro. The 3C listing of the device revealed that it may ship with a 55W fast charger.

The Axon 30 Pro may feature the Snapdragon 888 mobile platform. It is likely to house a 6.92-inch screen that may either support Full HD+ or Quad HD+ resolution. The handset is also expected to carry support for a 120Hz refresh rate. It is expected to feature the second-generation in-display camera. The handset could be housing a 4,700mAh+ battery. It will come preloaded with Android 11 OS.

The specifications of the ZTE Axon 30 and Axon 30 Pro+ are not known yet. Hopefully, the upcoming teasers will reveal the different features of the Axon 30 series.
