ZTE Axon 30 5G Launch Date Revealed, Full Specifications Appear at TENAA

For the past few weeks, ZTE has been teasing the arrival of the ZTE Axon 30 5G. It will be replacing the ZTE Axon 20 5G smartphone from last year, which was the world’s first phone with an under-display camera. Today, the company confirmed that it will be unveiling the Axon 30 5G at 7 PM (local time) on July 27 in China.

The official poster shown below has revealed the front and rear design of the Axon 30 5G. As can be seen, the handset has a notch-less screen thanks to the in-display camera. The poster confirms that the handset will be arriving in colors like white, black, blue, and beige. The last one could be a leather back variant.

The intriguingly designed back panel of the Axon 30 5G has a unique camera housing that includes two rings. The first one houses the main camera, whereas the second one has three lenses. The image confirms that it is equipped with a 64-megapixel primary camera.

ZTE Axon 30 5G Specifications (Rumored)

A new ZTE phone with model number A2322 has paid a visit to TENAA. The specifications that can be found in the listing suggest that it could be the upcoming Axon 30 5G.

The ZTE A322 measures 170.2 x 77.8 x 7.8mm, and it houses a 6.92-inch OLED panel that produces a 1080 x 2460 pixels resolution. The device is backed by a 4,100mAh rated battery, and it is fueled by a 3.2GHz octa-core processor. The smartphone is expected to arrive in 6 GB / 8 GB / 12 GB RAM variants and storage sizes like 128 GB / 256 GB / 512 GB.

The device will run on Android 11 OS, which might be overlaid with the company’s MiFavor UI. For photography, it has an in-display 16-megapixel camera and a 64-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 5-megapixel + 2-megapixel quad-camera unit. The smartphone also offers other features like an in-display fingerprint scanner and fast charging.
