ZTE’s sub-brand Nubia has officially unveiled the Nubia Z17 Mini phone. It is the first phone from the brand to feature a dual rear camera setup. The Nubia Z17 Mini is packed with a 5.2-inch display that offers a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. It is flanked with a 2.5D curved glass.
The Z17 Mini comes in two variants of chipset. The Snapdragon 652 model has 4 GB of RAM whereas the Snapdragon 653 variant features 6 GB of RAM. Both the models are equipped with 64 GB of native storage.
The Nubia Z17 Mini has a dual rear camera setup that includes a 13-megapixel (monochrome) camera and a 13-megapixel (RGB) Sony IMX258 sensor. The latter features has f/2.2 aperture and Optical Image Stabilization and 4K video recording. It comes with a 16-megapixel f/2.0 aperture selfie camera with support 80-degree wide angle shooting. It features a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
It is loaded with Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS overlaid with Nubia UI 4.0 skin. It is packed with a 2,950 mAh battery with fast charging support. Its dimensions are 146.65 x 72.5 x 7.45 mm and its weight is 155 grams. The Snapdragon 652 variant is priced at 1,699 Yuan ($246) and the Snapdragon 653 model costs 1,999 Yuan ($289). It comes in color choices Elegant Black, Gold Black, Champagne Gold and Red.
