iQOO 5 Pro is now the best performing flagship phone on AnTuTu

Today, AnTuTu is once again back with with the list of top 10 best performing flagship phones for the month of September. This time round, we do see significant changes to the top 10 positions with last month’s top scorer Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra now dipped to the third position.

As usual, the data source of this ranking was culminated from AnTuTu Benchmark V8 from September 1st to 30th. It’s worth noting that the average score was calculated from more than 1,000 devices, and may continue to change as more devices are being benchmarked.

For the month of September, the iQOO 5 Pro had overtaken the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra as the best performing flagship phone with an impressive score of 663,752 points. The device is powered by the Snapdragon 865 chipset assisted by a top-tier 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage memory setup.

According to AnTuTu, software optimizations and advanced cooling technology are some of the main attributing factors toward its exceptional score.

Moving on, its iQOO 5 sibling will be retaining the second position with an overall score of 662,165 points. The device is also powered by the Snapdragon 865 chipset and features the same 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.

In the third position, we have the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra which was previously the top scorer among flagship phone. It sits behind the iQOO 5 series with a score of 648,624 points despite having a beefier memory configuration. According to AnTuTu, even though the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra scores higher in the memory department, but it fall behind in terms of CPU and 3D graphics scores as compared to the iQOO 5 series devices.

Subsequently, the forth to tenth positions are dominated by the Vivo X50 Pro+, new comer Lenovo Legion Duel, ASUS ROG Phone 3 (Review), Black Shark 3S, OPPO Find X2 Pro (Review), OPPO Find X2, as well as Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro.

For the month of October, we won’t be expecting to see a huge overhaul to the list of top 10 flagship devices. However, we might be greeted by some new faces including the newly announced Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro.
