Sharp is all set to make its comeback in the smartphone industry. In April, the Japanese company had announced Snapdragon 835 fueled Sharp Aquos R flagship phone and it is slated to announce the rumored Sharp FS8016 and FS8010 smartphones on July 17. Earlier today, a leaked photo of one of the forthcoming phones from Sharp had surfaced.
The above image reminds of the teaser photo of the Essential Phone that Andy Rubin, Android’s co-founder had revealed. As it can be seen in the above image, the smartphone has very thin bezels as it features a full-screen display. The selfie camera can be seen placed at the upper part of the screen in the middle through a cutout just like the Essential Phone. It appears that its fingerprint reader is placed on its back panel.
The upcoming FS8016 and FS8010 Sharp phones are expected to feature the bezeless display. The FS8016 will be powered by Snapdragon 660 and the FS8010 would be driven by Snapdragon 630. Other specs of both phones include 5.5-inch display with support for 2,048 x 1,080 pixels resolution, a pair of 12-megapixel rear cameras, an 8-megapixel frontal snapper, 4 GB / 6 GB RAM, 64 GB of native storage and Android 7.1.1. Nougat.
