Samsung’s 2018 Galaxy A5, A7 Are Wi-Fi Approved, Release Seems Near

Recent reports have revealed that the Galaxy A5 (2018) has a model number of SM-A530F and the Galaxy A7 (2018)’s model number is SM-A730F. Both the models have received Wi-Fi certification by Wi-Fi Alliance agency. The Wi-Fi certification of both phones have revealed that they will carry support for Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac.

The arrival of SM-A530F at Wi-Fi Alliance has also revealed that the handset will be running on Android 7.1 Nougat. Also, the SM-A730F has been found to be running on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. These smartphones have also received FCC certification in the U.S. Also, these phones have also received Bluetooth SIG certification. Hence, the 2018 variants of the Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7 are expected to get announced soon.

Since the Galaxy A (2017) smartphones were launched at the beginning of this year. The Galaxy A5 (2018) and Galaxy A7 (2018) phones are also speculated to get official in January 2018.

Previous reports have revealed that 2018 Galaxy A5 and A7 smartphones would be arriving with 18.5:9 aspect ratio Infinity Display and dual front cameras.  Both phones are rumored to be fueled by Exynos 7885 chipset. Some rumors claim that specific markets may receive Snapdragon 660 edition of these phones. Also, these smartphones are speculated to feature dedicated button for launching Bixby AI.
