While we have been hearing a lot recently about the upcoming Xiaomi Mi Note 2, but let’s not forget about another Xiaomi’s handset which is salted to be launched by the end of the end of the year as well.
This device of course, is none other than the Xiaomi Mi 5S which is now officially cleared by the Chinese 3C regulatory body and is now left with the TENAA certification before it can be officially launched in the Chinese market.
According to recent rumors, the Mi 5S is expected to sports a 5.15″ QHD display, powered by a Snapdragon 821 SoC along with 6GB of RAM and 256GB internal storage under its memory compartment. Camera-wise, the device will come with a 16MP main snapper at the back, paired with a 13MP front-shooter at the front for selfies as well as video calls. Keeping the lights on will be a 3,490mAh battery which is capable of sustaining more than a day of heavy usage.
Earlier leaked teaser of the device also suggests that the device could feature a 3D curved display and also embodies a ceramic-made chasis. Ultrasonic fingerprint sensor is also a likelihood for the upcoming flagship as well.
If nothing goes wrong, we can expect the Mi 5S to be announced in October next month.
