At the start of this week, a Motorola handset with model number XT1762 had received FCC certification in the U.S. and now another Motorola phone with model number XT1773 has received FCC’s approval. Speculations are rife that these phones will launch as Moto E4 and Moto E4 Plus to succeed Moto E3 and Moto E3 Power from last year.
Popular leakster, Roland Quandt has revealed that the upcoming Moto E4 phones will not be featuring Snapdragon chipset, but they will be powered by MediaTek SoC and it will be featuring a mammoth battery of 5,000 mAh capacity.
Recent leaks have revealed that the Moto E4 would be coming with 5-inch LCD screen, MediaTek MT6735P chipset featuring 1 GHz quad-core processor and Mali-T720 graphics, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of native storage, 8-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel selfie snapper, Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and 2,800 mAh battery.
Last year’s Moto E3 and Moto E3 Power came with identical specs, but the latter came with larger RAM, more internal storage and bigger battery. Hence, the Moto E4 Plus is pegged to come with same spec as Moto E4, but may come with 2 GB RAM, 16 GB native storage and 5,000 mAh battery. Now that the alleged Moto E4 phones have received FCC approval, their launch seems imminent.
