Xiaomi Mi Max 2 (Xiaomi Oxygen) Specifications Revealed Through GFXBench Listing

In February, the rumor mill had unearthed some of the key specifications of the Xiaomi Mi Max 2. Now, the specs of the upcoming phablet have surfaced once again, this time through its listing on GFXBench benchmarking platform.

On GFXBench, the alleged Mi Max 2 is listed with a codename of Xiaomi Oxygen. Its specifications match with the specs that had surfaced in February. According to GFXBench listing, the phone features a 6.4-inch screen that produces a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. Since it features Adreno 506 graphics, it is powered by the soon-to-be-launch Snapdragon 660 chipset SoC. Its RAM is 4 GB and it has a native storage of 128 GB. It runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS and it has a 12-megapixel rear snapper and a frontal camera of 5-megapixel. It carries support for NFC connectivity.

These specs are quite similar to the information that had surfaced in February for the Xiaomi Mi Max 2. However, it revealed that the smartphone features 6 GB of RAM and 5,000 mAh battery. Speculations have it that the Mi Max 2 will be announced in May. Its appearance on the benchmarking site suggests that Xiaomi may be testing it before launching it.
