To celebrate this Christmas, Asus has made the long awaited Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for Asus PadFone 2 available on their website for users to download. Just in case that you do not know, the Taiwanese edition PadFone 2 had already received the OTA Jelly Bean update earlier this month. According to Asus, this update will bring the following changes to the device :
- Improved USB Internet Sharing to avoid disconnection
- Improved the device’s audio quality
- Enhanced camera’s focus and photo-quality features
- Optimal GPS function
- ASUS Studio image editing feature
- PinPal, BuddyBuzz, and Floating Widget applications
- Optimal streaming quality for playback smoothness
- Added Asus Quick Settings function
However if you do not like the hassle of downloading the update yourself, you can also wait for the OTA update to be sent to your handset on a later date.
