Vivo V1955A Appears on 3C with 55W Charger; Could be iQOO 3

Vivo is planning to launch couple of new phones in China. The Vivo V1950A that had appeared on TENAA with full specs in the past week is expected to debut in China as the Snapdragon 865 mobile platform powered Vivo NEX 3 5G. A new Vivo phone that has a model number of Vivo V1955A has been approved by the 3C authority. The fast charger that has been spotted in its 3C listing suggest that it could be the Vivo iQOO 3 smartphone.

As it can be seen in the below shown screenshot, the Vivo V1955A is a 5G phone. The V5550L0A0-CN charger that is mentioned in the 3C listing supports up to 55W charging. By this, this phone could be arriving with support for highest charging rate seen on a Vivo phone. Probably, this phone could be the iQOO 3 gaming smartphone.

Last year in April, Vivo introduced the iQOO sub-brand. The Vivo iQOO gaming smartphone under the new sub-brand was powered by Snapdragon 855 chipset and it came with a 44W charger. At that time, it was the highest charging speed offered on a Vivo smartphone. The Vivo V1955A could be 5G-ready iQOO 3 smartphone fueled by the latest Snapdragon 865 mobile platform.

As of this writing, there is no word on the specifications of the smartphone. Probably, it may go official by the end of the first quarter or it could be announced after the Vivo NEX 3 5G Snapdragon 865 mobile platform that is waiting in pipeline to go official.

Speaking of the Vivo NEX 3 5G SD865 phone, it has the exact same specs as the original Vivo NEX 3 5G phone that went official in September. The only difference is that the new phone comes with the latest Snapdragon 865 mobile platform.
