Last month, a new Vivo NEX 3 variant carrying the model number V1950A was certified by the Chinese TENAA authority. This device, known as Vivo Nex 3s, will make it’s official debut on March 10th according to a launch invite released by Vivo.
Unlike the current Vivo NEX 3 which was driven by a Snapdragon 855+ SoC, the upcoming NEX 3s will be rocking the latest Snapdragon 865 SoC instead. It will be a 5G-ready phone which is capable of supporting both standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) modes.
Under the hood, the Vivo Nex 3s will be fueled by a slightly smaller battery with a rated capacity of 4,250mAh. However, earlier reports suggested that the device could support up to 55W fast-charging this time round.
Likewise, the device will also come with a brand new Orange shade which was not seen in the current Vivo Nex 3 lineup. Other than that, the rest of the specs and design remain relatively unhanged.
Currently, the Vivo NEX 3 5G is priced at 5,698 Yuan (US$809) and 6,198 Yuan (US$876) for it’s 8GB+128GB and 12GB+256GB models respectively.
