Xiaomi will be launching the Xiaomi Mi Band 5 in China on the coming Thursday. It will be arriving as the successor for the Mi Band 4 that debuted last year. Ahead of the unveiling event, the Chinese firm has been revealing the key features of the Mi Band 5. Today, it released a new Weibo post to confirm on the key features of the Mi Band 5.

The below-shown poster reveals that the Mi Band 5 will arrive with 7 new upgraded features. The poster states that the fitness band is equipped with a large-sized display. It is speculated that the device will come with a 1.2-inch OLED panel. Secondly, it mentions that the device is equipped with enhanced sensors.

The Mi Band 5 carries support for magnetic charging, and it is equipped with 11 professional sports mode. The fitness tracker from Xiaomi features an NFC chip for contactless payments. While Xiaomi is silent on the international launch of the Mi Band 5, it is said that the global version will come with Google Pay support. The global model is also said to feature Amazon Alexa assistant.

The poster further states that the Mi Band 5 has a new women’s health mode. Lastly, it states that the device supports remote control mode for capturing photos through a paired smartphone.

The Mi Band 5 is expected to arrive in strap color editions like black, blue, red, and yellow. It could be priced at 175 Yuan ($26) in China.
