In October, a South Korean publication revealed that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 could be the first phone from Samsung to arrive with in-display camera. The display necessary for the under-screen camera technology is being developed by the Samsung Display. And the image sensor will be developed by Samsung Electronics System LSI.
Early rumors had claimed that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 will be the first Samsung phone to arrive with in-screen camera technology. However, the recent specs sheet leak of the Galaxy S21 series have revealed that it will not be featuring the advanced selfie camera technology.
Some reports have revealed that the company will be axing the Galaxy Note series in the coming year. Speculations have it that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 will arrive with S Pen stylus support. A recent report had revealed that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 could be equipped with a thicker UTG of up to 60mm, which allow the foldable device to support the usage of a stylus.
