Vivo had recently launched quite a number of Y series smartphones including the Vivo Y76 5G and Y74s 5G. Now, the company is reportedly prepping a new 4G-only model known as the Vivo Y21e.
Courtesy of it’s Geekbench listing, we’re able to learn that the Vivo Y21e might be powered by the newly announced Snapdragon 680 chipset which has yet to be adopted by any smartphone at the moment. That means the Y21e has the possibility to be the first smartphone that’s powered by the new chipset at launch.
Other than that, the same listing also revealed that the phone achieves a rather decent scores of 387 points and 1,636 points respectively for it’s single-core and multi-cores run. It also confirmed that the device is equipped with 3GB RAM and will be shipped with Android 11 OS out of the box.
As for the rest of the specs, they remain largely under the wraps at the moment. However, since the phone had already been spotted in multiple certification bodies, it’s official launch should be imminent.
