Huawei is all set to launch it’s first-ever flip phone known as the Huawei P50 Pocket on December 23rd next week. Ahead of it’s launch, new details pertaining to this highly anticipated device had been reported by Chinese news outlet MyDrivers.
According to the latest information, the Huawei P50 Pocket is said to feature a 6.8” inner display when the phone is unfolded. On the outside, it comes with a dual-ring design that’s kind of similar to what we saw on the Huawei 50 series smartphones.
The upper ring reportedly houses a triple-camera setup lead by a 50 megapixels Sony IMX766 main camera alongside a 13 megapixels ultra-wide unit as well as 8 megapixels telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.
Under the hood, the Huawei P50 Pocket is expected to be powered by the company’s latest Kirin 9000 chipset coupled with a respectable 4,100mAh battery with 66W fast-charging support.
These preliminary specs point toward a high-end offering that can easily take on other existing flip phones such as the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3. It’s definitely one of the most exciting device we have this year, so let’s hope Huawei launches it in the global market!
