Realme has finally revealed the launch date for the Realme 12 Pro series. The brand has confirmed that it will announce the Realme 12 Pro lineup at 12 pm on Jan. 29. The official poster showcases the design of the Pro+ variant and confirms that it has a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 main camera and a periscope telephoto camera. Apart from these details, the company has not revealed anything else about the 12 Pro lineup.
As per reports, the Realme 12 Pro and 12 Pro+ will have a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel offering an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The two devices are expected to feature a 16-megapixel and a 32-megapixel front-facing camera, respectively.
Both smartphones will have the same 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 main camera with OIS support. An IMX355 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens will be joining it. While the Pro model will feature a 32-megapixel telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom, the Pro+ edition will be equipped with a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.
The Realme 12 Pro will have the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, whereas the Pro+ will be equipped with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC. The 12 Pro is expected to arrive in variants such as 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB, and 12GB+256GB, whereas the Pro+ will come in 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB configurations. Both devices will have a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging.
The Realme 12 Pro series will have the Realme UI 5-based Android 13 onboard. For security, it will feature an under-display fingerprint sensor. The 12 Pro will be available in shades, such as Submarine Blue and Navigator Beige. The 12 Pro+ will come in the same color options as well as Explorer Red.
