Recently, iQOO unveiled the iQOO 13 with the Snapdragon 8 Elite in China. Just before its launch, there were rumors that India could be the first market outside of China to receive iQOO’s latest flagship. The Indian wing of the brand has already been teasing the key specs of the IQOO 13. Today, the brand officially confirmed that it will debut on Dec. 3 in India.
iQOO 13 launch date confirmed for India
The iQOO 13’s landing page is now live on iQOO India’s official website and Amazon. Apart from the launch date, the company’s latest teaser suggests that the handset will be available in two shades, such as white and grey.
Available with a starting price of 3,999 Yuan ($560) in China, the iQOO 13 has a 6.82-inch BOE Q10 OLED panel with a flat design. It offers a 2K resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and a maximum brightness of 4,500 nits. Under the hood, the device has the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, a Q2 supercomputing chip, up to 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM, and up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage.
The iQOO 13 packs a 6,150mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. However, it lacks support for wireless charging. In the global market, the phone is expected to run on FunTouch OS 15-based Android 15.
The iQOO 13 has a 32-megapixel front-facing camera. Its rear camera setup has a Sony IMX921 50-megapixel main camera with OIS support, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel IMX816 telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom. It comes with other features, such as dual speakers, an X-axis linear motor, a USB 3.2 Gen 1 USB-C port, and an IP68-rated chassis.
