Motorola has just launched the Motorola Edge 70 Pro in India, but it appears that the brand is not yet done with the Edge 70 lineup. Alongside the existing standard, Fusion, and Pro models, the company is also said to be working on the Edge 70 Pro+. At present, there is no clarity on how the Pro+ variant will differ from the regular Pro model. However, its launch could be nearing, as veteran tipster Evan Blass has shared leaked renders of the device.
Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ renders surface online
Blass has shared five images of the Motorola Edge 70 Pro / Pro+, which can be viewed in the source. Based on the leaked images, both devices appear to feature an identical design language.
The Edge 70 Pro has already launched in white, blue, and green shades. The leaked renders suggest that the Pro+ edition could arrive in new wood and red colour options.
Some reports speculate that the Edge 70 Pro+ may feature a larger battery, while other rumours hint at the inclusion of a telephoto camera. However, details remain unclear at the moment, and it is advisable to wait for additional reports for confirmation.
Motorola Edge 70 Pro specifications
The regular Edge 70 Pro features a 6.8-inch pOLED display with a 1.5K resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and Gorilla Glass 7i protection. It is powered by the Dimensity 8500 Extreme chipset, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. The device packs a 6,500mAh battery with support for 90W charging.
For photography, the Edge 70 Pro includes a 50-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. Its rear camera setup includes a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-710 primary camera with OIS and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens. Other features include Hello UX-based Android 16, dual speakers, MIL-STD-810H certification, and an IP68/IP69-rated body.
