Motorola launched a wide-range of G-series phones in this year. It was recently revealed that the next year will see the arrival of a G-series flagship. It is likely that the device could be codenamed as “Nio.” Speaking of Nio, reliable tipster Evan Blass has shared a leaked shot of the smartphone.
The leaked shot reveals that the phone is equipped with dual punch-holes for its two frontal snappers. The top and side bezels of the phone are slim, but it has a slightly thick bottom bezel. Blass claimed that this phone may have been spotted in Motorola’s recent video on desktop-mode for its upcoming smartphones.
The tipster revealed a couple of specs of the Motorola Nio phone such as the Snapdragon 865 mobile platform., 8 GB of RAM, 256 GB of native storage, a 5,000mAh battery, and Android 11 OS. The phone will also offer a feature called DisplayPort Alternate Mode, which will allow users to use the USB-C port of the phone to connect to external monitors.
The tipster did not share any information on the launch date of the Motorola Nio. It is speculated that the smartphone may go official in the first quarter of the coming year.
Previous reports have revealed that the Motorola Nio that has a model number of XT-2125 will carry support for a high refresh rate of 90Hz and it will offer a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2520 pixels. Recently, Motorola was found to be allegedly testing 105Hz refresh rate on the device.
The smartphone is expected to arrive with a 16-megapixel main selfie camera and an ultrawide second lens of 8-megapixel. The rear-facing camera module of the phone will feature a 64-megapixel main shooter, a 16-megapixel ultrawide sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
