Yesterday, ASUS had already dropped the bombshell that the much-awaited Zenfone 7 flagship will be officially announced on August 26th later this month.
Ahead of its unveiling, the ASUS Zenfone 7 had reportedly been spotted on Geekbench bearing the codename Asus_I002D. This device was listed with a Snapdragon 865 Plus alongside 8GB RAM, and had achieved an impressive scores of 966 points and 3,283 points respectively for its single-core and multi-cores performance tests.
ASUS Zenfone 7 w/ SD865+ 8/256GB and 5000mAh sounds like it could be a good deal at 549 Euro.

Other than its specs, we also have a clear expectation of its launch prices in the European markets courtesy of well-accredited leaker Roland Quandt. According to him, the 8GB+256GB model of the ASUS Zenfone 7 will set you back with €549 (US$655), while the lower-end model with 6GB+128GB configuration will be priced at €499 (US$595).
If the leaked pricing appears to be accurate, then the upcoming ASUS Zenfone 7 is expected to be the most affordable Snapdragon 865 Plus-drivened smartphone in the market – and is even cheaper than older flagship phones which are powered by the vanilla Snapdragon 865 SoC.
Coming to its design, we can expect the Zenfone 7 to arrive with an unblemished front display that is free of notches or hole-punches of any sort. That’s because the device had recently been teased to feature the same kind of flip cameras similar to what we’d saw on the current Zenfone 6.
