The Honor 400 series is scheduled to launch globally on May 22. Reports have revealed that the Honor 400 and 400 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, respectively. The company has also started teasing the Honor 400 series in China. Reports indicate that the Chinese editions of the Honor 400 series will differ from their global counterparts.
Honor 400 series key specifications

Today, tipster Digital Chat Station shared a Weibo post revealing the “About Phone” page of the Honor 400. The image confirms that the Chinese edition of the Honor 400 will feature a new Snapdragon 7-series chipset.
The image shows that the Chinese Honor 400 will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, which is expected to launch soon. The tipster recently claimed that the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, built on TSMC’s 4nm process, will offer a modest improvement over the 7 Gen 3.
It also confirms that the Honor 400 will have a screen supporting a 1.5K resolution of 2736 x 1264 pixels. The Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip will be paired with 12GB of RAM, 12GB of virtual RAM, and a large 7,200mAh battery. The device will run on MagicOS 9 based on Android 15.
The tipster added that the Honor 400 Pro will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Both the Honor 400 and 400 Pro are expected to include a 6.55-inch flat OLED display with a 1.5K resolution. The Pro model will also come with a 7,200mAh battery and MagicOS 9.

The above images shared by DCS show that the Honor 400 will have a dual-camera setup, whereas the Pro edition will have a triple camera setup. Both phones are said to have a 200-megapixel primary camera, whereas the Pro model is also said to include a telephoto camera.
Honor has yet to announce the launch date of the Honor 400 series in China, but it is expected to launch later this month, competing with the Oppo Reno 14 series, Vivo S30 lineup, and Huawei Nova 14 series.
