Honor 50 Lite confirmed to feature Snapdragon 662 SoC; will launch in Malaysia on Nov 25th

When Honor announced the new Honor 50 Lite smartphone last month, the company remained mum with regards to it’s underlying chipset. Right now however, the official listing on the phone spotted on Lazada Malaysia has confirmed that the device will be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 662 chipset – just like the Huawei Nova 8i. The Honor 50 Lite will be launched in the Malaysian market on November 25th and is expected to be priced at just RM999 (US$239).

On the rear side of the phone, it sports a circular camera island which kind of reminds us of the Huawei Mate 30 Pro smartphone that was launched two years back. These cameras include a 64 megapixels wide camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide unit, as well as a pair of 2 megapixels sensors for macro and depth sensing.

To keep it’s lights on, the Honor 50 Lite draws power from a respectable 4,300mAh battery with 66W fast-charging support. The device will be shipped with Magic UI 4.2 based on Android 11 that’s pre-installed with Google Mobile Services (GMS).

Those who’re interested can pick the device from three different colorways Deep Sea Blue, Space Silver and Midnight Black. It will be available in a single 8GB+128GB memory configuration.
