Honor 8A Prime arrives in Russia as a rebranded 8A Pro

Honor has quietly announced the Honor 8A Prime, a rebranded version of the Honor 8A Pro, in Russia. As such, the device will feature the same design and specs as the Honor 8A Pro, but will come with a brand new Emerald Green shade.

Honor 8A Prime Specifications

The Honor 8A Prime has a 6.088-inches display with 1560 × 720 pixels screen resolution. It’s dewdrop-notch on the front panel also houses an 8 megapixels selfie camera.

At the back of the device, there is a single 13 megapixels camera that is assisted with a LED flash located directly below it. Moreover, there will also be a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor as an additional security feature.

Under the hood, the Honor 8A Prime is driven by a MediaTek’s Helio P35 SoC alongside 3GB of RAM and 64GB onboard storage which is further expandable by a microSDXC card.

To keep its lights on, there will be a 3,020mAh battery sitting at the heart of the device as well. The Honor 8A Prime will run on the EMUI 9.0 based on Android Pie OS.

Since the device is a rebranded version of the Honor 8A Pro which was announced back in April last year, it is likely that the device will come loaded with Google Mobile Services (GMS) out of the box.

Honor 8A Prime Pricing

In the Russian market, the Honor 8A Prime is priced at 9,990 Rubles (US$126/ INR9,490) for the 3GB+64GB model.
