Honor EBG-AN00 appears on Geekbench; could be the Honor 30 Pro

Recently, an upcoming Honor smartphone bearing the model number EBG-AN00 was certified by the Chinese 3C authority. This device, according to reports, is believed to be the upcoming Honor 30 Pro flagship which will be announced on April 15th next week.

Now, the same device had made its appearance on Geekbench 4 along with some of its key details as well. According to its Geekbench listing, the device has achieved an impressive score of 3,876 points and 12,571 points respectively for its single-core and multi-cores performance tests.

The same listing further detailed that the alleged Honor 30 Pro will be featuring the high-end Kirin 990 SoC coupled with 8GB RAM in the memory compartment. Although it was listed with 8GB RAM here, but we do know that the device will be offered with more memory options at launch.

On the software-side, it will run on the latest Android 10 (AOSP version) which rely on Huawei Mobile Services (HMS) and AppGallery instead of the typical Google Mobile Services (GMS) and Play Store. This however, shouldn’t be much of a problem to most users right now.

Although information pertaining to the Honor 30 series remain scare at the moment, but GSMArena had recently published an official-looking render of one of the Honor 30 series phones. The render confirmed the existence of a quad-camera setup and a 50MP Sony IMX700-based camera.
