Honor Magic 6 Pro display seemingly revealed in Magic OS 8.0 teaser video

Honor has confirmed that it will announce the Magic OS 8.0 and Magic 6 series of flagship phones on Jan. 10 and Jan. 11 in China. The Magic 6 lineup will likely come preloaded with Magic OS 8.0 preinstalled. Today, the brand released a teaser video to confirm the key features of the latest version of the Magic OS. The handset showcased in the video seems to be the upcoming Magic 6 Pro.

The Magic 5 and Magic 5 Pro came equipped with curved-edge OLED panels. While the standard model sported a punch-hole design, the Pro variant’s screen featured a pill-shaped cutout at the upper-left corner. Reports have claimed that the pill-shaped cutout would be placed at the centre position on the Magic 6 Pro.

The above screengrab taken from a Magic OS 8.0 teaser video showcases an unknown Honor phone with a quad-curved display equipped with a centre-positioned pill-shaped cutout. Likely, this could be the first look at the display of the Magic 6 Pro.
