Motorola Capri and Capri Plus Specifications Leak Appear Ahead of 2021 Announcement

A recent report by TechNik News had revealed that Motorola is working on a new flagship phone that is codenamed “Nio”. The Snapdragon 865 powered handset is expected to break cover early in 2021. Fresh information shared by the same publication reveals that Motorola is planning to launch two budget phones named Capri and Capri Plus early next year.

The report reveals that the Capri model number belongs to the Motorola phone with XT2117 model number. The display of the handset supports an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and 60Hz refresh rate. It has an 8-megapixel Samsung S5K4H7 selfie camera and it has a triple camera setup on its rear.

It has a Samsung S5KGM1ST 48-megapixel main camera, an Omnivision OV02B1B 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel GC02M1 macro lens, and an 8-mgeapixel Samsung SK54H7 ultrawide lens. The handset has Snapdragon 460 chipset, 4 GB of RAM and an internal storage of 64 GB.

The model number of the Motorola Capri Plus is XT2129 and it has an HD+ display that supports a 90Hz refresh rate. It has a Samsung S5K4H7 13-megapixel front-facing camera and its rear setup has a 64-megpaixel OmniVision OV64B primary camera, a 2-megapixel OmniVision OV02B1B depth assist lens, a 13-megapixel Samsung S5K3I6 superwide lens., and a 2-megapixel GC02M1 macro lens.

Both devices carry support for dual SIM connectivity, and they are preloaded with Android 11 OS. A recent leak had claimed that the Motorola phone with XT-2117 model number could be debuting in the market as Moto G Play 2021. It is advisable to wait for further reports to know the final marketing names of the Capri and Capri Plus handsets.
