We are less than two weeks away from the official launch of the highly-anticipated OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro flagship phones. Prior to their launch, the duo had been subjected to countless of leaks including their official specs and even renders.
Right now, the OnePlus 8 5G with model number IN2025 had also dropped by Geekbench 5, revealing even more details about the device. In fact, this device had previously appeared on Geekbench 4 under the codename GALILEI IN2025 as spotted by GSMArena. The “Pro” version on the other hand, is said to carry the IN2023 model number.
According to its listing, the OnePlus 8 5G has achieved a score of 906 points and 3,398 points respectively for its single-core and multi-cores performance tests. It also affirmed that the OnePlus 8 5G will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 865 platform which will be coupled with a hefty 12GB RAM under the hood. This corroborates on the earlier details released by reputable tipster Ishan Agarwal.
Other than that, we’d also learned previously that the OnePlus 8 5G will be featuring a 6.55-inches AMOLED hole-punched display that compasses a FHD+ screen resolution alongside an impressive 90Hz screen refresh rate.
Over at the back, we will see a conventional vertical camera module which play host to a triple-camera setup that includes a 48 megapixels main shooter, 16 megapixels ultra-wide lens, as well as another 2 megapixels sensor which is believed to be a 2 megapixels depth sensor. This will be completed with a 16 megapixels selfie camera at the front.
The OnePlus 8 5G will also be equipped with the latest LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.0 flash storage technologies to deliver a speedy performance for its users. Finally, it will also comes with a 4,300mAh battery which supports 30W Warp Charge 30T fast charging.
The OnePlus 8 5G, along with OnePlus 8 Pro, have been confirmed to cost under US$1,000 according to the company’s CEO Pete Lau.
