Oppo Find X Unveiled with 92% Screen Space, Elevating Front and Rear Camera System Few Hours Before Official Launch Event

Through an unveil event at The Louvre in Paris, France, Oppo will be announcing the highly anticipated Find X flagship phone later today. The Verge that has already received the pre-production unit of the Find X has revealed plenty of information on the phone. The Find X features a marvelous full screen display like the Vivo NEX. Similar to the elevating camera found on the NEX phone, the handset can slide up the camera assembly when the camera app is accessed and disappears when it is closed.

The Oppo Find X is fitted with a notch-less 6.4-inch S-AMOLED dual edge curved display that produces 92.25 percent aspect ratio. It supports a resolution of 2360 x 1080 pixels.

Oppo Find X Elevating Camera

For photography, it features a dual camera setup on its rear that includes a 16-megapixel primary sensor and a 20-megapixel secondary sensor. At the front is the 25-megapixel selfie camera which also supports 3D facial scanning. The whole camera assembly can slide up in just 0.5 seconds. The sliding mechanism also hides the rear camera setup and reveals it when it is accessed through the camera app.

Oppo Find X Elevating Rear Camera

There is no fingerprint scanner and 3.5mm audio jack on the Find X. The Snapdragon 845 chipset powers the smartphone along with 8 GB of RAM. It has a native storage of 256 GB. The device receives power from 3,730mAh battery. The Colo OS 5.1 flavored Android 8.1 Oreo is present on the phone. The Oppo Find X is equipped with support for global LTE networks.

The pricing of the Oppo Find X will be confirmed through the launch event that will be held later today.
