Realme is gearing up to launch the Realme GT 7 Pro Racing Edition in China. Reports have revealed that it will be a toned-down version of the GT 7 Pro, which went official in November 2024. Realme Vice President, President of Global Marketing, and President of China, Chase Xu, has confirmed that the Racing Edition phone will be announced in the coming week.
Realme GT 7 Pro Racing Edition launch timeframe

While the Realme executive has confirmed that the GT 7 Pro Racing Edition will debut next week, the exact launch date is still under wraps. The device is expected to undercut the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro to grab the title of the most affordably priced Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 phone. Apart from the Ace 5 Pro, the GT 7 Pro Racing Edition will also compete with the OnePlus Ace 5.
The Realme GT 7 Pro has a triple camera setup with a periscope telephoto camera included. It features an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor. Speculations are rife that the GT 7 Pro Racing Edition will lack these features. However, the rest of its specifications could be identical to the GT 7 Pro.

The GT 7 Pro Racing Edition is expected to feature a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS support and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide snapper on the back. For selfies and video calls, it may feature a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. It will run on Android 15 with a layer of Realme UI 6 on top.
On the front, the GT 7 Pro Racing Edition will have a 6.78-inch Samsung AMOLED panel that produces a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device will pack a 6,500mAh battery with 120W fast charging. Probably, the highest variant of the device will offer 24 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage.
