Realme X7 Pro Extreme Edition goes official with Dimensity 1000+ SoC & 65W Fast-charging

Following the launch of the Realme GT and Realme GT Neo devices last month, the Chinese smartphone giant is now back with another exciting smartphone – Realme X7 Pro Extreme Edition. On paper, this device seems to be a slightly toned-down model of the Realme X7 Pro which was announced back in September last year.

Upfront, the Realme X7 Pro Extreme Edition sports a 6.55” Super AMOLED curved display that offers a FHD+ screen resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, 1,200 nits peak brightness, as well as an in-display fingerprint scanner. The device also comes with an hole-punch cutout on the upper-left corner that houses a 32 megapixels selfie camera.

Around the back of the device, we will find the usual rectangular-shaped camera island that houses a triple-camera setup. These cameras include a 64 megapixels primary shooter, 8 megapixels ultra-wide camera, as well as a 2 megapixels macro camera.

Under the hood, the Realme X7 Pro Extreme Edition retains the same MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ chipset found in last year’s X7 Pro. It will be paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage in the memory department.

To keep its lights on, the Realme X7 Pro Extreme Edition relies on a respectable 4,500mAh battery which carries support for 65W SuperDart charging that’s capable of delivering a full charge in just 35 minutes. As usual, the device is shipped with the latest Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 out of the box.

In the Chinese market, the Realme X7 Pro Extreme Edition is priced at 2,299 Yuan (US$350) and 2,599 Yuan (US$396) respectively for its 8GB+128GB and 12GB+256GB variants.
