Redmi K50s Pro Specifications Tipped Ahead of Rumored August Launch

The Redmi K50s Pro series of flagship smartphones is rumored to launch in August this year. The lineup is expected to include two devices, such as the Redmi K50s and the Redmi K50s Pro. Today, tipster Yogesh Brar leaked the key specifications of the K50s Pro.

Redmi K50s Pro Specifications (Rumored)

The Redmi K50s Pro will sport a 6.7-inch OLED screen. It is expected to support an FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and an in-screen fingerprint scanner. For selfies, it will feature a 20-megapixel selfie snapper.

The rear camera setup will feature a 200-megapixel (main) + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 2-megapixel triple camera unit. The device will come preloaded with Android 12 OS with MIUI 13 on top.

The Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset will power the Redmi K50s Pro. The device will come with 8 GB / 12 GB of RAM and 128 GB / 256 GB of built-in storage. It will house a 5,000mAh battery, which will carry support for 120W fast charging. It will also feature dual stereo speakers.

The Redmi K50s Pro is likely to remain exclusive to the Chinese market. However, the device is expected to be rebadged as the Xiaomi 12T Pro in markets outside China.

Redmi is likely to announce the Redmi K50s alongside its Pro sibling. This device is likely to feature a 50-megapixel primary camera, a Dimensity 8100 chipset, and 67W fast charging. The K50s is speculated to borrow its other specifications from the Pro model. The K50s may be rebranded as the Xiaomi 12T in the global market. While the Redmi K50s series is expected to launch in August this year, the Xiaomi 12T may launch in September or October this year.
