The rumor mill has talking about the arrival of the Samsung Galaxy A51 5G and Galaxy A71 5G since the past few months. These are 5G versions of the Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A71 that went official in December 2019 in Vietnam. Samsung unveiled the Galaxy A71 5G phone in the U.S. earlier this month. The South Korean company has now revealed that the sales of the Galaxy A51 5G will begin in South Korea on May 7.

The press release by Samsung states has carried the entire specs of the phone. The product page of the device shows that the phone comes with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB storage. The handset is priced at 572,000 KRW ($469). The sales of the phone will start on May 7 in the home market and it can be availed in three colors like Prism Crush White, Prism Crush Black and Prism Crush Pink.
Samsung Galaxy A51 5G Specifications
The only major difference between the 4G version of the Galaxy A51 and its 5G edition is that the former comes with Exynos 9611 SoC and the latter is equipped with 5G-ready Exynos 980 chipset. The Galaxy A51 5G has a 6.5-inch S-AMOLED display. The Infinity-O design totting screen offers full HD+ resolution and is equipped with a fingerprint sensor.
The back panel of the phone has a quad camera setup. It has a primary shooter of 48-megapixel, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens with 123-degree of field-of-view, a 5-megapixel macro shooter and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. At front, the phone sports a 32-megapixel selfie camera.
The Galaxy A51 5G houses a 4,500mAh battery with 15W rapid charging support. The One UI 2.0 based Android 10 comes preloaded on the device.
