On Dec. 10, Samsung had launched the Galaxy A8s with in-screen camera enabled display. The South Korean company had started the reservations of the smartphone, but it did not confirm on its pricing. Today, the Galaxy A8s has been listed on Jing Dong Mall with a price tag of 2,999 Yuan.
Starting from today, JD.com is receiving the pre-orders of the smartphone. The shipments of the smartphone will begin on Dec. 31. The handset is available in color variants such as Elf Blue, Aurora Black and Allen Silver
The Galaxy A8s comes in two RAM editions of 6 GB and 8 GB. Both models feature 128 GB. The 2,999 Yuan pricing belongs to the 6 GB RAM + 128 GB edition of the smartphone. The pricing of the higher model is yet to be confirmed.
The Galaxy A8s features a 6.4-inch IPS LCD screen with Infinity-O display design. It is powered by Snapdragon 710 chipset. The rear panel of the phone features 24-megapixel + 10-megapixel + 5-megapixel triple camera system. For capturing selfies, it is equipped with 24-megapixel front-facing camera. The handset includes 3,400mAh battery.
